Actor and comedian Ken Marino, who launched his career on MTV’s sketch comedy series “The State,” recently picked up an impressive Los Angeles property for $4,075,665.
The four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home is in the city’s upscale Hancock Park neighborhood, known for landmarks such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
The 3,157-square-foot estate, built in 1924, features a main residence and guesthouse—along with views of Wilshire Country Club.
This magical mansion has been on the market several times. It was last sold in 2008 for $1.9 million and landed on the rental market in 2020 for $13,500 a month. The original asking price for the pad in November 2023 was $3,995,000.

Massive main house
While interior photos aren’t available, the listing notes that the main house has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Its large living room features a decorative fireplace, wall of windows, and light hardwood floors.
A formal dining room with arched entryways and outdoor access awaits at the end of a spacious hallway.
Connected to the dining room is a gourmet kitchen with high-end, stainless steel appliances and a center island with seating. There’s also a shiny, white farmhouse-style sink and a six-burner stove.
Meanwhile, the family room is perfect for relaxing and entertaining. It has vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, and built-in cabinets and shelving. Even better? You can access the backyard via stylish French doors.
The main bedroom overlooks a picturesque golf course. This sleep space features a massive walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom with marble-topped dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a separate shower.
Two additional bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and a powder room complete the main house’s expansive layout.
Gorgeous guesthouse
The property’s separate guesthouse—which boasts high ceilings, a private patio, and a renovated bathroom—is ideal for hosting friends and family.
Outdoor spaces include a pool, built-in grill, and an open-air kitchen. Heat lamps dot the outdoor living room, making it the perfect year-round gathering spot.
Marino, 55, got his start in Hollywood on “The State.” Through the years, he’s acted in several television shows including “Party Down” and “The Other Two.” He was a guest star on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice.”
