You can purchase a private island in one of the country’s most expensive markets—if you have $25 million to spare. The 5.78-acre retreat in San Francisco Bay known as Red Rock Island has hit the market for the first time. Clicks on the bulbous outcropping close to the Richmond Bridge made it the week’s most popular listing.

The landmark property was previously available for sale, but this is the first time it has appeared on the multiple listing service. Originally inhabited by Russian fur traders in the 1800s, the property was later inhabited by just one resident, Selim Woodworth, former California legislator and son of poet Samuel Woodworth, who used it as a hunting preserve.

According to Mansion Global, the current owner is Brock Durning, whose family has held the property for decades.

Also grabbing attention this week were an affordable midcentury modern home in Ohio, a former Methodist church in Idaho, and a luxury log home on nearly 200 acres in New York.
