After the successful sale of TV legend Betty White<\/strong>\u2019s beach house<\/a> in Carmel, her Los Angeles<\/a> home has also found a buyer, according to Architectural Digest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The \u201cGolden Girls\u201d star died in 2021 at the age of 99 and left behind some prime real estate.<\/p>\n

The Brentwood property, which was the beloved star\u2019s main residence for the past 53 years, came on the market<\/a> in April for $10,575,000. It reportedly sold for $10,678,000.<\/p>\n

Hot in Brentwood<\/h2>\n

Built in 1952, the stately Colonial<\/a> with the cheerful yellow door has been \u201clovingly cared for\u201d and offers views of the Getty Museum and mountains. The sale marked the first time the place had changed hands in over 50 years.<\/p>\n

White and her husband chose the home in 1968 because it was \u201cclose enough to the various studios where she worked while still providing privacy,\u201d a spokesman for White\u2019s estate told the Wall Street Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Set on three-quarters of an acre, the 3,000-square-foot home offers five bedrooms and six bathrooms. It comes with a pool, guesthouse, and three-car garage.<\/p>\n

Gated and set back from the street, the grounds feature flower-filled gardens and old-growth trees.<\/p>\n

The place was sold as a tear-down, and no interior photos were available, nor were buyers allowed inside the home.<\/p>\n

White\u2019s custom-built beach house in Carmel was listed in March for for $7,950,000.<\/p>\n

It grabbed the attention of the web and became the most popular listing<\/a> on Realtor.com\u00ae. Just two months later, the property was snapped up for $10.4 million.<\/p>\n

The Emmy winner starred in \u201cThe Mary Tyler Moore Show,\u201d \u201cThe Golden Girls,\u201d and \u201cHot in Cleveland,\u201d as well as the 2009 rom-com \u201cThe Proposal.\u201d The energetic White also hosted \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d in 2010 at the age of 88.<\/p>\n
