NBA standout Ben Simmons<\/strong> really wants to sell his luxury home in Hidden Hills, CA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The oft-injured Brooklyn Nets<\/strong> forward paid $17.5 million for the modern farmhouse<\/a> in 2021. Then he tried to flip it for $22 million just a year later.<\/p>\n

Now, he\u2019s hoping to find a buyer who\u2019s on board with the new $17,495,000 price tag. However, bids are being accepted on the place in an upcoming, no-reserve auction. Bids are expected to begin in the $7 million-$12 million range, according to the listing details. Bidding will be open from April 18-April 30, if a buyer doesn\u2019t step forward before then.<\/p>\n

Simmons busy with real estate moves<\/h2>\n

The past few years have been busy off the court<\/a> for Simmons. In 2021, he listed his mansion in Moorestown, NJ<\/a>, for $5 million but ended up selling the place for $4.5 million.<\/p>\n

And back when he played for the Philadelphia 76ers<\/strong>, he picked up a chic condo<\/a> that had been on the market as a rental.<\/p>\n

As for his massive manse near the Santa Monica Mountains, the seven-bedroom dwelling is in a class by itself.<\/p>\n

Created by the architectural firm Nobel LA<\/a>, the great room and dining space are divided by a floating, brass fireplace that wouldn\u2019t be out of place at a posh ski resort in the Alps.<\/p>\n

Other design details include 40-foot ceilings, glass walls, reclaimed wood, Preciosa chandeliers, and exposed steel beams. As befits a mansion of this size and opulence, there are two kitchens\u2014one is a showpiece with sleek wood and marble, while the other is a professional-grade cook space teeming with durable stainless steel and commercial-grade appliances.<\/p>\n

The main bedroom suite has its own fireplace; seating area; walk-in closet; and a spa-inspired bath with two stone vanities, a soaking tub, and steam shower. The main house also features a home theater and large gym.<\/p>\n

Outside, there\u2019s a 65-foot pool, barbecue station, fire pit, and a cabana with a game room. A gorgeous guesthouse with its own primary suite, chic bath, and plunge pool completes the property.<\/p>\n

Simmons, 27, has played in only 57 games in the past three seasons\u2014injury has kept him on the sidelines. A native of Australia, he was the No. 1 draft pick in the first round in 2016. He comes from a hoops-loving family, as his father played 13 seasons with the Australian National Basketball League.<\/p>\n
