Grammy-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar<\/strong> has turned up the heat on his long-simmering beef with Drake<\/strong>: They both claim the title<\/a> of the best rapper alive.<\/p>\n

The feud erupted after Lamar took issue with being lumped alongside Drake and J Cole as the \u2018big three\u2019 of rap in the pair\u2019s song, \u2018First Person Shooter.\u2019 Lamar fired off a response saying, \u2018It\u2019s just me\u2019, in a fiery verse on Metro Boomin and Future\u2019s track, \u2018Like That.\u2019 He also compared his legacy to that of Prince.<\/p>\n

So while Lamar and Drake\u2019s mic techniques might be up for debate, there\u2019s no disputing that K-Dot and Champagne Papi also compete when it comes to their property portfolios.<\/p>\n

The two rappers have acquired some pricey, princely real estate over the years. But who owns the finer mansions? We\u2019ll let you be the judge. Take a look.<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s real estate flex<\/h2>\n

The Canadian-born rapper has put his own stamp on hip-hop. He\u2019s sold over 170 million albums and notched 13 number one hits.<\/p>\n

In addition to his prolific and lucrative recording career, Drake has regal real estate in two countries.<\/p>\n

Texas ranch<\/h2>\n

Drake broke the internet late last summer when he teased<\/a> that he\u2019d found a place in Texas during a Houston<\/a> concert.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited I get to share this with you. I had to make it official first,\u201d he told the crowd. \u201cI\u2019ve been looking for a long time, trying to figure out the right place for me to live\u2014where I belong outside of Toronto. And I finally, finally, after all these years, found me a place in Houston, Texas!\u201d<\/p>\n

The 313-acre property the rapper reportedly picked up<\/a> for $15 million is about 45 minutes outside of H-Town in Washington, TX<\/a>. It\u2019s a whopper of a private resort and apparently Drake\u2019s Lone Star paradise.<\/p>\n

Formerly operating as a Relais and Chateaux Resort and known as The Inn at Dos Brisas, the spread includes multiple homes and pools, equestrian facilities, a tennis court, and three ponds.<\/p>\n

Beverly Hills megamansion<\/h2>\n

In a sign that he\u2019s serious about his new Texas digs, the rapper quickly attempted to flip<\/a> the Beverly Hills<\/a> mansion he purchased in 2022 from musician Robbie Williams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Drake scored the 90210 estate in March 2022 for $75 million, and it went back on the market in May 2023 with a price tag of $88 million. Today, it\u2019s still on the market for the same price.<\/p>\n

The nearly 25,000-square-foot property features a professional screening room, huge wine cellar, and a tennis court. It sits on 20 acres at the end a long and private, gated driveway.<\/p>\n

YOLO compound nets big bucks for Drake<\/h2>\n

Before he headed into Beverly Hills, Drake had cobbled together his very own YOLO compound in the celeb-heavy enclave of Hidden Hills<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In March 2022, he put the entire three-parcel spread on the market<\/a> for $22.2 million. Transformed into a party pad designed to entertain a large crowd, the residence has been updated to include a massive swimming pool and spa grotto, a swim-up bar, waterfalls, and a rock waterslide.<\/p>\n

Two of the Drake-owned homes were purchased by Los Angeles Rams<\/strong><\/a> quarterback Matthew Stafford<\/strong>\u2014one sold for $11 million, and the main house sold for $12 million.<\/p>\n

Drake has a fascinating place to stay when he\u2019s in his hometown of Toronto.<\/p>\n

Drizzy custom built an astonishing manor house<\/a> that was featured on the cover of Architectural Digest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 50,000-square-foot mansion includes a regulation-size, indoor basketball court; a bar with champagne and wine chillers; and a hot tub with a TV screen.<\/p>\n\n

Everything\u2019s Gonna Be Alright: Kendrick Lamar<\/h2>\n

Not to be outdone, Kendrick Lamar is a worthy opponent in rap and<\/em> in real estate. When it comes to writing bars, he\u2019s notched accolades beyond the reach of most rappers and has no reason to be humble.<\/p>\n

Lamar has earned Pulitzer Prize for his music, along with 17 Grammy Awards. Outside the recording booth, his property portfolio is also award-worthy.<\/p>\n

Good kid in the M.A.A.D city<\/h2>\n

Lamar went back to hip-hop\u2019s roots and bought a Brooklyn penthouse<\/a>\u00a0in 2023 for $8.6 million.<\/p>\n

The 3,140-square-foot condo in Brooklyn<\/a> was finished in 2015 and features a two-level, open layout with floor-to-ceiling windows. The four-bedroom unit also features a private terrace and an oversized, rooftop deck.<\/p>\n

In 2018, we learned that the rapper had picked up<\/a> an investment property in Calabasas, CA<\/a>, for $2,650,000. Situated in part of the exclusive community of Calabasas Park Estates, the 5,433-square-foot home includes a gym, family room, and guest suite. It\u2019s reportedly a place for Kendrick\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

Luxe SoCal options for Lamar<\/h2>\n

So where does the Compton<\/a>-born talent lay his head when he\u2019s going back to Cali?<\/p>\n

He reportedly has a couple of sweet options. He owns<\/a> a $9.7 million modern mansion in Manhattan Beach<\/a>. He picked up the place in 2019, according to Architectural Digest<\/a>. The off-market deal means there are no details or photos, but AD noted the \u201ccontemporary gem\u201d features four bedrooms and seven bathrooms arranged throughout 5,350 square feet.<\/p>\n

The publication also mentioned that Kendrick also owns a 1950s-era, Bel-Air<\/a> estate that\u00a0he snagged for $15.8 million at the end of 2022.<\/p>\n

The ranch house in the desirable East Gate community was designed in 1951 by noted architect Edward Fickett<\/strong>. It\u2019s since been expanded and renovated into a minicompound with a main house and two-story guesthouse, totaling 8,000 square feet and offering seven bedrooms.<\/p>\n
