Some of hip-hop mogul Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong>\u2018 lavish properties have been searched as part of an investigation into sex trafficking, according to multiple reports.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s not clear if Combs is a target of the probe, his properties in two ultraexclusive areas were targeted in the raids. According to a statement<\/a> given to The Associated Press, Homeland Security Investigations said it \u201cexecuted law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to his homes in Miami<\/a> and Los Angeles<\/a>, Combs has an extensive property portfolio. Let\u2019s have a look at the mansions that were targeted by the reported raids. We\u2019ll peruse Combs\u2019 other real estate transactions over the years, too.<\/p>\n

Forbes<\/a> revealed in 2019 that he has a fortune of $740 million, thanks to investments in fashion, the vodka brand C\u00eeroc, and his Bad Boy record label, among other ventures. So it makes sense that Diddy would also spread some of his wealth around in the luxury real estate market.<\/p>\n

Swanky Star Island<\/h2>\n

There are only about four dozen ultraluxury homes on Miami Beach\u2019s Star Island. Combs is well on his way to constructing a compound. The two adjacent properties he owns appear to be the target of the recent raids.<\/p>\n

In 2021, he picked up a waterfront property being sold by Gloria and Emilio Estefan<\/strong> for $35 million. It includes two buildings on 1.34 acres, with a total of six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and nearly 8,000 square feet. Prior to Diddy\u2019s purchase, the Estefan compound had bounced on and off the market<\/a> for years\u2014with an asking price of $40 million at one point.<\/p>\n

Combs has called Star Island home since 2003, when he bought the home next door to the Estefan estate for $14.5 million. His 19,545-square-foot mansion sits atop the coveted parcel. The home offers nine bedrooms, a swimming pool, and a private boat dock.<\/p>\n

The guard-gated community has long been known as an exclusive spot for celebrities and the ultrawealthy, with the likes of Shaquille O\u2019Neal, Alex Rodriguez, and \u201cReal Housewives of Miami\u201d star Lisa Hochstein<\/a> all owning homes on the island.<\/p>\n

The Star Island spread isn\u2019t Diddy\u2019s only home in the Sunshine State. In nearby inland Miami Beach<\/a>, he picked up a condo in 2012 for $2.7 million. The three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom corner unit in a residential high-rise offers views of Biscayne Bay, Fisher Island, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Miami skyline. When it was available, the unit was marketed as having a newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms with \u201cno expense spared.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Luxe Los Angeles<\/h2>\n

The swanky spot that Combs calls home on the West Coast also became a search site, as part of the ongoing investigation. The AP notes that a police line had been set up around the L.A. property and that groups of agents in vests were spotted in the backyard and pool area.<\/p>\n

Combs picked up the mansion for $39 million in the prestigious locale of Holmby Hills<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Developed by megamansion builder Nile Niami<\/strong>, the 17,000-square-foot residence<\/a> built in 2014 features nine bedrooms. The two-story main house also comes with a 35-seat theater, a gym, and wine room. But the true highlight of this estate is the \u201clagoon-style swimming pool with a grotto connected by an underwater swimming tunnel,\u201d the L.A. Times noted<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As in the case of his Star Island address, Diddy\u2019s L.A. neighborhood is flush with other notable homes. His place sits close to the Playboy Mansion<\/a> and Spelling Manor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2009, the father of six picked up a home for actress Kim Porter<\/strong>, the mother of three of his children. He paid $5.25 million for the 9,655-square-foot, six-bedroom mansion in Toluca Lake<\/a>. Tragically, Porter died<\/a> of pneumonia at the age of 47 in 2018, and Diddy still owns the home. TMZ reported<\/a> that it was the site of a break-in earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Prior to Holmby Hills, Diddy once called 90210 home. But a couple of decades ago, he sold his Beverly Hills<\/a> home for $2.3 million.<\/p>\n

Built in 1998, the place ended up in the headlines after the sale.<\/p>\n

It was on and off the market for long stretches and was the focus of news in 2015, when word emerged that the boxer Manny Pacquiao<\/a> had picked up the property\u2014and everything in it\u2014for $12.5 million<\/a>. Pacquiao wound up backing out of the deal, and the place most recently changed hands in 2020 for $8,325,000.<\/p>\n

A native of NYC, Diddy has made some splashy deals in the Big Apple as well.<\/p>\n

In 2017, he sold<\/a> his three-bedroom apartment in midtown Manhattan<\/a> for $5.7 million\u2014a pretty good deal, considering he paid $3.82 million for it in 2003.<\/p>\n

Located at The Park Imperial<\/a> residences, the swanky, 2,300-square-foot unit features Central Park views, walls of windows, and high ceilings. The high-end building offers an array of luxe amenities and is close to the shopping of Fifth Avenue.<\/p>\n

Diddy shed another property in the Empire State last year, when he sold his infamous East Hampton<\/a> retreat for $4.7 million. He didn\u2019t exactly get what he was looking for, because the Hamptons spread had an asking price of $5.5 million.<\/p>\n

But he did come out ahead on the deal, given that he purchased his waterfront retreat in 1998 for $2.45 million. It\u2019s unclear how much he had actually used it in recent years\u2014apart from cash flow. In 2016, the party pad landed on the rental market<\/a> with an asking price of $200,000 for the summer months.<\/p>\n

The four-bedroom contemporary residence features walls of glass showcasing water views. Outdoor features were designed for big bashes, with a pool and spa, a cabana with a bar and kitchenette, plus beach access.<\/p>\n

In years past, Diddy made an annual splash with his notorious Gatsby-style White Party<\/a>, held for years at this Hamptons home. The soiree featured celeb-studded guest lists and a strict head-to-toe white dress code.<\/p>\n

Just across the Hudson River, Diddy also dipped his toe into the New Jersey real estate market. In 2004, he picked up a mansion in the tony town of Alpine <\/a>for $6 million.<\/p>\n

Sitting on 3.5 acres, the 11,000-square-foot brick estate offered<\/a> a wealth of luxury features. Highlights included\u00a0<\/span>three master bedroom suites, a sauna, home theater, an indoor basketball court, a swimming pool with waterfalls, a lighted tennis court, private putting green, and a six-car garage.<\/p>\n

Just three years after purchasing the place, Diddy had a change of heart and put the massive home on the market for $9 million. It turned out to be an enormous albatross and lingered on and off the market for almost a decade, before it finally sold<\/a> for $5.5 million in 2016.<\/p>\n

Georgia<\/h2>\n

Diddy has also dabbled in some real estate deals in Georgia.<\/p>\n

He once owned a 20,000 square-foot residence in Atlanta<\/a> that he sold in 2007 for $1.3 million. And he still owns a plot of land with a pond in Fayetteville, GA,<\/a>\u00a0which he picked up in 1995 for $260,000.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
