That\u2019s entirely possible, if you throw in $11,495,000\u2014the listing price of Judy Garland<\/strong>\u2018s former, East Coast-style home in the upscale Los Angeles<\/a> neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Along with the guidance of her mother, Ethel Marion Gumm<\/strong>, Garland commissioned architect-to-the stars Wallace Neff<\/strong> to build the classic residence in 1938, when she was just 16. It was the same year she was cast as Dorothy in \u201cThe Wizard of Oz.\u201d<\/p>\n

Garland, her mother, grandmother, and sister lived in the house for a number of years, but it\u2019s unclear exactly how many. There are photos of Garland with her friend and co-star Mickey Rooney<\/strong>\u00a0in the living room. And there\u2019s another photo of her with her first husband, band leader David Rose<\/strong>, on the brick steps in the backyard.<\/p>\n

The home was reportedly rented by Quincy Jones<\/strong> and the late Marvin Gaye <\/strong>at some point.<\/p>\n

Well-maintained mansion<\/h2>\n

What is clear is that the 2.7-acre estate has been extraordinarily maintained and updated over the years. The home has had just three owners other than Garland, according to<\/a> Compass listing agent and \u201cMillion Dollar Listing Los Angeles\u201d star Josh Flagg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Times heiress Stephanie Booth Murray<\/strong>, who bought the property in February 2011 for $5.2 million, made some renovations and flipped it in 2012. She listed the place for $7.1 million and sold it for $6.7 million to current owners Allen<\/strong> and Jill Chozen<\/strong>. They remodeled even further but were careful to leave much of the old Hollywood glamor intact.<\/p>\n

They selected elegant features, including enriched-hardwood flooring and custom Seagrass rugs, which accent the original storybook windows.<\/span><\/p>\n
