Rashard Mendenhall<\/strong>, a former NFL running back who\u2019s found a second career as a TV writer, is selling an estate that was once the home of legendary comedian Richard Pryor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The list price of the six-bedroom, 7.5-bath L.A. mansion is rather particular: $4,236,000.<\/p>\n

Indeed, this number comes from Mendenhall\u2019s career rushing yards (4,236), which he achieved with the two teams he suited up for, the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/strong> and the Arizona Cardinals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pryor reportedly purchased the place in 1976 and lived there for a few years, long before it came into its current owner\u2019s hands. The award-winning stand-up comedian is said to have hosted many famous friends at the place, including Robin Williams<\/strong> and Quincy Jones<\/strong>. It\u2019s also the site of the infamous moment when he set himself on fire, according to Mansion Global<\/a>. Pryor died in 2005 at the age of 65.<\/p>\n

This estate is named Hacienda de los Suenos, the Ranch of Dreams.<\/p>\n

The main house includes a great room, four bedrooms, four baths, a formal dining room, a luxe kitchen, and a library. The main bedroom features a beamed ceiling, a private deck, and a beautiful bathroom with a soaking tub and large windows.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a standalone guesthouse, a pool house, a dance studio or gym building, an office, a kids\u2019 playhouse, and an on-site kennel.<\/p>\n

Outside, you\u2019ll find a huge pool, spa, and waterfall, as well as a grill station, tennis court, putting green, and citrus trees. There\u2019s a three-car garage and parking space for 25 vehicles.<\/p>\n

After Mendenhall retired from his relatively short career of six seasons, he pivoted to successful work as a writer and editor of the HBO comedy series \u201cBallers,\u201d which is partly based on his own experience in the NFL.<\/p>\n

Pryor is recognized as one of the greatest comedians. He received both Emmy and Grammy awards and starred in dozens of films.<\/p>\n
