When he teamed up with lyricist Hal David,<\/strong> the duo produced hits including \u201cAlfie,\u201d \u201cI Say a Little Prayer,\u201d \u201cI\u2019ll Never Fall in Love Again,\u201d and \u201cDo You Know the Way to San Jose.\u201d The pair won an Oscar for the song, \u201cRaindrops Keep Fallin\u2019 on My Head,\u201d written for the film, \u201cButch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fun fact: The prolific hitmaker appeared in all three \u201cAustin Powers\u201d movies and served as an \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d judge in 2006.<\/p>\n
