Comedian and actress Sarah Silverman<\/strong> and her sisters are letting go of a family house filled with memories.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re selling the Boca Raton, FL<\/a>, home where parents Donald and Janice Silverman<\/strong> lived since 1999.\u00a0 The place is listed for $839,900.<\/p>\n

\u2018Loved and cared for\u2019 home<\/h2>\n

\u201cThey had it for a long time, so [Sarah] was back and forth\u2014she spent a lot of time there,\u201d says listing agent Nikki Klein<\/strong>, of Brilliant Living with EXP Realty. \u201cThe energy really felt great in there. It felt like it was a home that had been loved and cared for.\u201d<\/p>\n

The father of the stand-up comedian died in May 2023, just days after Silverman\u2019s stepmother Janice\u2019s death. The two were married 40 years. Now, the family is parting with the long-time property.<\/p>\n

The 2,200-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bath home sits in a gated community. A lofted area in the residence could be used as a fourth sleeping space.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy favorite thing about the house is the positioning so that you have sunset views,\u201d Klein says. \u201cI think it\u2019s really private and quiet. The second floor has an expanded primary bedroom, and it\u2019s got windows that directly look over the golf course, a lake, and the sunset. It looks just majestic.\u201d<\/p>\n

The view also includes the 18th hole of Boca Country Club.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a public golf course now, so you don\u2019t have membership fees,\u201d Klein notes.<\/p>\n

The neighborhood has a monthly HOA fee of $497.<\/p>\n

The property comes with a pool, although it is currently covered with a platform.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has not been used for many, many years,\u201d Klein reveals. \u201cI think they covered it, because they preferred to sit outside and watch the sunsets instead of being in the pool.\u201d<\/p>\n

The buyer could explore the possibility of uncovering the pool to get it working again, she adds.<\/p>\n

Based on personal preferences, updates could be made to elements such as carpet and wallpaper, Klein says. But the kitchen and primary bathroom were recently redone.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I first walked into the house, I loved the tall ceilings, I liked the layout,\u201d Klein recalls. \u201cYou can feel the happy memories.\u201d<\/p>\n

The comedian, 53, is known for her subversive and controversial takes. She won an Emmy for her TV special, \u201cWe Are Miracles.\u201d Her memoir, \u201cThe Bedwetter,\u201d was adapted into an off-Broadway musical. Silverman\u2019s acting roles have included voicing Vanellope in \u201cWreck-It Ralph\u201d and most recently as Shirley Bernstein in the movie, \u201cMaestro.\u201d<\/p>\n
