Record executive and producer L.A. Reid<\/strong> has worked with many a superstar, including Justin Bieber<\/strong>, Kanye West<\/strong>, Babyface<\/strong>, and Rihanna<\/strong>. So it makes sense that he\u2019d have a superstar mansion in the lofty perch of Bel Air.<\/p>\n

Reid first listed the Los Angeles<\/a> home for $21.5 million in March 2023 but has since trimmed the ask to $17.5 million.<\/p>\n

This is not one of the typical glass-box mansions that seems to have sprouted up everywhere in the area.<\/p>\n

Reid\u2019s 11,246-square-foot spread was built in 2014 and is extraordinarily artistic and thoughtful. No space or surface was left unconsidered.<\/p>\n

\u201cEach room is intentionally curated to create a harmonious yet functional atmosphere,\u201d the listing notes.<\/p>\n

Almost every room is also designed to take advantage of the stellar canyon views. The great room has floor-to-ceiling, glass walls and sliding doors to illuminate the surroundings. Standout features include a towering and distinctive double-sided fireplace, a floating staircase with a glass railing, and exquisitely designed light fixtures.<\/p>\n

The furniture, much of which was custom made, is not included in the listing price. But the Reids told the Robb Report that they are open to selling a number of their pieces to the new owners, excluding the ones with great personal value.<\/p>\n
