Known as The Pink House<\/a>, the incredible residence in Naples<\/a> was finished five years ago and is on the market for $17.2 million.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe house was built in 2018 by a very thoughtful architect, builder, and interior designer to make something that was an homage to the previous house that had been there from the 1960s\u2014that house was painted a bright pink,\u201d says listing agent Annie Hagstrom<\/strong>, with John R. Wood Properties.<\/p>\n

She says the owners wanted to build something \u201cthat gives back to that beautiful pink house\u201d while capturing the property\u2019s unparalleled views.<\/p>\n

The result is a lovely 4,315-square-foot house with a giant pink wall that\u2019s visible both inside and out. It\u2019s easy to spot from almost anywhere on Naples Bay and sets the home apart from its neighbors.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the pink wall,\u201d Hagstrom says. \u201cIt goes from the outside to the inside. They strategically built it so that when you\u2019re sitting in an outdoor space, you can see this bright pink wall; and when you come in the house, it\u2019s that same wall. The same paint is going all the way upstairs.\u201d<\/p>\n

The home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an array of floor-to-ceiling windows.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt faces west, so it\u2019s a sunset view,\u201d Hagstrom notes. \u201cYou have the feeling of living inside and outside. You open all the doors, and you feel like you\u2019re outside.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of the bedrooms has a particularly unique space\u2014a bed in a window nook in a part of the home that is cantilevered from the home itself.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you\u2019re sitting in this window box bed, you have the most incredible view of the water,\u201d Hagstrom says. \u201cIt would be a cozy spot where you could curl up like a cat, read a book, and enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hagstrom says the home is a work of art designed to appeal to a buyer in search of a remarkable waterfront home.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a piece of art, right from the driveway,\u201d she observes. \u201cIt has a living driveway with grass growing in different sections and is being watered from underneath.\u201d<\/p>\n

The current owners don\u2019t keep vehicles on the driveway, which has to be mowed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey loved the way it looks, so they cultivated it as a living sculpture,\u201d Hagstrom says.<\/p>\n

The backyard boasts an infinity pool and 170 feet of private peninsula. There\u2019s no dock currently, but the third-acre lot has 80 feet of deeded canal frontage with deep water.<\/p>\n

Recently, the sellers lowered the price from its original $18 million ask.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe decided to bring the price down to reflect the current market and to bring more activity to the home,\u201d Hagstrom says, noting that the owners are selling so they can begin another venture down the street. \u201cThey love to do creative projects, and they want another opportunity to do something else. They love the idea of the building process, the design process, working with people, and finding unusual materials. They want to do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n
