Being publicly canned from a job is no fun, as soccer boss Phil Neville can attest.

In June, the former Manchester United star was let go from his coaching role by Inter Miami, right before the squad reeled in international superstar Lionel Messi.

After a few months off in the Florida sun, Neville landed the job as head coach of the Portland Timbers in early November.

And with this resume update comes the next, natural step: a listing for Neville’s residence in South Florida.

Neville’s lovely, five-bedroom, Fort Lauderdale, FL, mansion is now on the market for $9,499,995.

Here’s a look at what he’s trading for his fresh start in the Pacific Northwest.

While we can’t peek at the interior details of this contemporary dwelling, we can report that it’s situated securely behind the gates of the Enclave, a high-end golf and country club community. The house was finished in 2021 and designed by well-known Palm Beach architect Bruce Celinski.

Grand ceilings and huge windows fill the main spaces, while the kitchen is equipped with name-brand appliances, an enormous island, and custom cabinets. The main bedroom is a private oasis that includes a breakfast bar and spa-inspired bath. A home office and four other bedrooms with en suite baths complete the package.

Outside, the luxury continues with a pool, spa, putting green, outdoor kitchen, and basketball court. The property is close to restaurants, shops, and beaches, making it an ideal perch for wealthy sun seekers.

Neville, 46, was an accomplished footballer in his own right, having starred for Manchester United and Everton for two decades. He has also coached women’s soccer in his native England, where he is a part owner of the Salford City soccer team.
