\u201cIt\u2019s a recreational piece of property in the sense that you can hunt, you can ride an ATV, it\u2019s endless,\u201d says Brandi Freeman<\/strong>, who is representing the listing with Kathie Franklin<\/strong> and agent Jordan Hall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Roughly two hours north of Dallas<\/a>, the 153-acre spread in Wolfe City, TX<\/a>\u2014and the new container home on it\u2014are available for $1,579,997.<\/p>\n

Freeman notes it\u2019s the sort of property that somebody with a \u201cvision and a dream for their family\u201d could use to make lots of memories. The land is being sold as one parcel but could be subdivided if a buyer desires, she says.<\/p>\n

That process of memory making can begin immediately, because the one-bedroom, one-bath container home is fully furnished and ready for move in.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything you see in the pictures would stay with the home,\u201d Freeman says. \u201cThe only thing that\u2019s not furnished is kitchen gadgets like pots and pans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Backcountry Containers, which has been featured on HGTV, built the custom home.\u00a0It was added to the property to enhance what would otherwise be just a parcel of land.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were brainstorming how we could stand out from our competitors and make the property more appealing to the buyer,\u201d Freeman says. \u201cWe thought putting a container home on the property would help bring the vision and make a dream a reality. It\u2019s basically saying, \u2018All you have to do is show up with your truck and your hunting equipment, and you\u2019re good to go.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

There is currently no power or water on the property, but both are available.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt does have a generator, a composting toilet, and water tank, so it\u2019s fully operable if you go out there,\u201d Freeman explains. \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t have to do anything but show up and turn the generator on, and you\u2019re ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

The large acreage offers enough room for just about anything.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re trying to market it as a hunting property,\u201d Freeman notes. \u201cWhatever your sports-enthusiast family wants, you could do. It\u2019s one of those sportsman\u2019s paradise kinds of things. The sky\u2019s the limit. There\u2019s plenty of room for an ATV to run all over the property, and there are trails cut out for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pond on the property isn\u2019t currently stocked, but that doesn\u2019t mean it couldn\u2019t become an angler\u2019s paradise.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a bit low right now and doesn\u2019t have any fish stock in it; but with a little bit of work, it could be a fully functional pond,\u201d Freeman says.<\/p>\n

The land\u2019s 70-mile proximity to metro Dallas<\/a> is another of its inviting perks.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the perfect [distance] if somebody wanted to commute into work, they could do that\u2014or if they wanted to just go for a quick weekend getaway,\u201d Freeman says. \u201cEven if they wanted to pick up their kids after school and go shoot a few rounds after school for a few hours, it would be ideal.\u201d<\/p>\n
