The nearly 2,400-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath home is a Spanish-style bungalow known as \u201cCasita De Mariposa.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the band is usually considered a British group, Copeland himself is American-born and a founding member of The Police, along with lead singer Sting<\/strong><\/a> and guitarist Andy Summers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Formed in 1977, the group sold more than 75 million records and recorded a number of smash hits, including \u201cRoxanne,\u201d \u201cEvery Breath You Take,\u201d and \u201cMessage in a Bottle.\u201d The trio broke up in 1984 but left behind an indelible legacy. The six-time Grammy-winning group was voted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.<\/p>\n
