\u201cI sold this home to Peggy and Sharon when the exterior was cedar shakes roof and siding,\u201d says listing agent TJ Pierret<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cThey kept the 1931 charm but added in more modern touches, making the home very eclectic and unique.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDr. Vera Lois Erickson<\/strong>, who owned the home from 1976 to 1997, was a pioneering professor of educational psychology and part of the group of women who sued the university for pay discrimination,\u201d says owner Peggy Schulte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After winning the lawsuit that would benefit generations of women<\/a>, Erickson mentored other women, then retired from the University of Minnesota in 2005.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe like to believe her spirit continues to bless the house,\u201d Schulte adds.<\/p>\n
