Former \u201cThe Late Late Show\u201d host James Corden<\/strong>\u00a0and wife\u00a0Julia Carey\u00a0<\/strong>have finally sold their Los Angeles<\/a> mansion for $17,125,000, according to The Real Deal.<\/a> The transaction comes out to nearly $5 million less than their original asking price.<\/p>\n

The couple listed the 8,609-square-foot home back in January for $22 million<\/a>. The following month, they dropped the price to $20,950,000.<\/p>\n

In March, the place saw another price cut to $17,950,000, before the pair accepted a lower offer and sold the house in May.<\/p>\n

According to Dirt<\/a>, the new owner is\u00a0LeeAnn Akouri-Shan<\/strong>, daughter of Hong Kong private equity billionaire,\u00a0Weijian Shan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Corden and Carey might have netted less than they asked, but they still came out way ahead. The couple purchased the home back in 2017 for $9,770,000.<\/p>\n

After Corden\u2019s eight-year run with \u201cThe Late Late Show,\u201d he decided to sell the swanky, SoCal spread and move the family back to his native England.<\/p>\n

Built in 1997, the six-bedroom house sits on a nearly half-acre lot in the Brentwood Park neighborhood. The \u201cCarpool Karaoke\u201d star did some extensive renovations to the stylish abode during his ownership. Take a look.<\/p>\n
