A Nashville, TN,<\/a> home belonging to\u00a0Michael Moloney<\/strong> of \u201cExtreme Makeover: \u201cHome Edition\u201d has quickly found a buyer. It came on the market just last month for $1,850,000 and went under contract after 10 days.<\/p>\n

While the listing agent would not comment on the seller, the listing states that a \u201chighly creative and talented owner bought this property in 2003.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have had multiple offers and have a backup as well,\u201d says listing agent Beth Ligon Molteni, of Fridrich & Clark Realty. \u201cThe home has great street appeal, is situated on a walkable street in Nashville, and sits higher than the road. It also has a nice backyard.\u201d<\/p>\n

The next owner will have a lot of options with the five-bedroom home, she adds.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a lot of flexibility with the floor plan. For example, in the bedroom, there is a room across from the closet that is being used as a small office that could be turned into a second closet. The bedroom next door could be used as an office. You could also turn it into an exercise room or playroom for the kids. There is a lot of space also for storage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt started off as a one-story house years ago, and then a second floor was added on,\u201d Molteni says. \u201cThe wife is a very talented artist, who used to be a commercial designer. When you walk into the house, it is a delightful space and very bright. The home has a fresh, traditional style that is not super contemporary.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you are looking for your happy place, this is it,\u201d the listing states. With a brightly colored interior like this, it would be hard not<\/em> to smile.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of the buyers who have shown interest in the home have small children and were looking at it as a primary residence,\u201d Molteni adds. \u201cWith a price point under $2 million, that was also an appealing factor.\u201d<\/p>\n
