The 9,016-square-foot mansion sits at the end of a peninsula in Woodland, MN<\/a>, and\u00a0is\u00a0listed for $14.75 million.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a stunning piece of property with almost 1,700 feet of lakeshore, which is very unique,\u201d says listing agent Jim Schwarz<\/strong>, with Lakes Sotheby\u2019s International Realty.\u00a0\u201cThe views in the home are absolutely spectacular from every room. You feel like you\u2019re on a cruise ship at times. The water is very close to the home, which is not typical.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schwarz was present during the construction process, which finished in 2016.<\/p>\n

\u201cI met the owners in 2014 and ended up finding them this property,\u201d he says. \u201cThey tore down an old home and built this beautiful home over a couple of years.\u201d<\/p>\n

The house has five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. There is a primary bedroom on the main floor, while a second primary suite and three more bedrooms are situated upstairs. The great room has two stories, with a double-barrel, vault ceiling and French doors.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe mess is in one kitchen, and then you have a large entertainment kitchen,\u201d Schwarz says, noting that the kitchen was a finalist in the 2017 worldwide Sub-Zero Wolf Kitchen Design Contest.<\/p>\n

On the entertainment front, the home has a theater, golf simulator, wine room, and 2,500-square-foot garage.<\/p>\n

The owners designed the house to have an indoor-outdoor feel, with plenty of glass doors on the main level and several upper-level balconies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe entire property is wrapped in either decking or porches \u2026 and if the weather gets a little windy on one side, you can just walk around to the other.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the end of the 2.8-acre property\u2014and hidden among the trees\u2014there is a lighthouse replica, modeled after one in Nova Scotia.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was on the property when my clients bought it, and they thought it was a really unique and cool feature, so they kept it,\u201d Schwarz explains.\u00a0\u201cFor people who boat on Lake Minnetonka, it\u2019s just an iconic property. If you\u2019re out on your boat and you see the big American flag flying, you know it\u2019s Cedar Point, because that flag has been flying there for many, many years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schwarz says there has been a lot of interest in the listing.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt checks a lot of boxes for people looking for something at this level that is special,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s very classic and very well done. Even though it\u2019s a large, luxury home, it feels very comfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n
