Dan Snyder<\/strong>, owner of the\u00a0Washington Commanders <\/strong>football team, has listed his Potomac, MD<\/a>, mansion for a whopping $49 million<\/a>. At the current asking price, it\u2019s the state\u2019s most expensive residential listing.<\/p>\n

But Snyder doesn\u2019t have to worry about having a place to stay in the D.C.<\/a> area. He also owns an enormous property on a historic parcel of land in Alexandria, VA<\/a>. Snyder paid $48 million for his\u00a0Virginia<\/a> spread in October 2021. When the this property came onto the market for $60 million<\/a> in October 2020, it was the priciest property for sale in Virginia.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Maryland<\/a>\u00a0mansion boasts five bedrooms, 6.5 baths, and loads of living space, arranged over a staggering 30,000 square feet and set on nearly 10 acres.<\/p>\n

This home is lavishly regal, thanks to its chateau design and limestone exterior. And the property even comes with an actual royal pedigree: It was once owned by Jordan\u2019s King Hussein<\/strong> and Queen Noor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Snyder family has owned the Commanders since 1999 and has been involved in a series of controversies, lawsuits, and name changes.
