Real estate agent Brandon Holland<\/strong>, of Avenue 8, has the skinny on the desert oasis that\u00a0Magda<\/strong> and Zsa Zsa<\/strong>\u00a0lived in for decades.<\/p>\n

Holland, who made the Kardashian comparison, notes that\u00a0the Gabor sisters had 22 husbands between them<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s nothing like it in all of Palm Springs,\u201d Holland says of the house, which has remarkable views. \u201cIt can never be duplicated.\u201d<\/p>\n

The striking property is perched at the top of a chic neighborhood known as \u201cLittle Tuscany.\u201d<\/p>\n

And believe it or not, the current homeowner\u2014Design Diva of the Desert,<\/a>\u00a0Tracy Turco<\/strong>\u2014added even more<\/em> glamour and sparkle to the three-bedroom, four-bath abode.<\/p>\n

Turco is famous for her maximalist, midcentury design work on boutique hotels such as the Tiki, Art<\/a>, and Cheetah<\/a>. She has also worked on several private residences, including the Tiki House<\/a>, which is also on the market.<\/p>\n

Turco actually lived in this stylish, 3,441-square-foot space, which she purchased in 2020 for $1,740,000. She sought to preserve the fabulous Gabor vibe and belongings, while adding her own touches.<\/p>\n

For instance, the pink exterior was Turco\u2019s idea. When the house was built in 1964, it was a white beacon on the hill.<\/p>\n

Inside, Turco added more hot pink; stylish, black-and-white striped curtains and awnings; brightly colored upholstery; and even a dazzling, golden bathtub.<\/p>\n

Turco offset the brilliance of her fabrics with custom-designed wallpaper, combining vivid prints and hues.<\/p>\n

But there\u2019s no improving upon certain original features\u2014like the home\u2019s classic stone flooring, Hollywood Regency detailing, and plentiful mirrors. Some of those mirrors are even embossed with Magda\u2019s initials.<\/p>\n

Other original features include two portraits of Magda; her shiny, black grand piano; various chandeliers; and ornate, wrought-iron pool furniture\u2014expertly reupholstered, of course.<\/p>\n

The home sale includes the paintings, furnishings, and accessories, Holland says.<\/p>\n

The primary bedroom wing is perfectly suited for any well-established glamour gal, with a sitting room (or office), dressing room, makeup room, and luxe bath that overlooks the pool and the desert.<\/p>\n

The kitchen is also a sight to behold. It features modern Viking appliances, including a 60-inch range with dual ovens, plus a griddle, refrigerator, wine fridge, dishwasher, and warming drawer.<\/p>\n

The home also has unique period features, such as an ornate ceiling, glass cabinetry, and a Hungarian rotisserie.<\/p>\n

Holland says his absolute favorite feature is the home\u2019s expansive terrace overlooking the mosaic-tiled swimming pool.<\/p>\n

He notes that the view is spectacular, \u201cbecause you\u2019re as far up in Little Tuscany as you can be. There\u2019s nothing above you.\u201d<\/p>\n
