\u201cThe apartment was completely renovated,\u201d says listing agent Chris Poore<\/strong><\/a>, of Sotheby\u2019s International Realty\u2013Downtown Manhattan Brokerage. The two-bedroom, two-bath unit is available for $2,900,000. \u201cIt was featured in Architectural Digest<\/a> a couple of years ago and The World of Interiors.\u201d Bowles is also editor of The World of Interiors publication.<\/p>\n

The unit is in a 10-story, elevator building dating to 1925. It was converted to a co-op in 1958. The building is in Greenwich Village, near Washington Square Park and Union Square.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a very charming neighborhood with tree-lined streets,\u201d Poore says. \u201cIt feels more like Europe. It\u2019s one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although it\u2019s listed as two bedrooms, \u201cthe apartment is currently configured as a one bedroom with a dining room,\u201d Poore says.<\/p>\n

Spanning two levels, \u201cit feels more like a townhome,\u201d he adds. Historic and charming details include a wood-burning fireplace, built-in shelves, vaulted ceilings, and custom millwork.<\/p>\n
