The third time’s the charm?
Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon, has added a third pricey property to the exclusive area of Indian Creek Island, in South Florida, according to Bloomberg News.
Although no details of the off-market deal have been disclosed on Realtor.com®, the publication says the transaction set Bezos back about $90 million.
The six-bedroom home last changed hands in 1998 for $2.5 million, according to public records. The spacious backyard faces Biscayne Bay.
Much like Star Island 5 miles south, Indian Creek Island is an exclusive enclave for bold names. Also known as the Billionaire Bunker, it has only 41 homes. Bezos’ neighbors on the isle include Tom Brady and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
This recent deal marks the third purchase Bezos has made on the island, adding to his already extensive real estate empire. It is also evidence of the world’s second-richest man transitioning to Florida Man—he announced his move from his longtime Washington home last year.
Jeff Bezos reportedly bought his third holding on Indian Creek Island.
Bezos’ two other homes on the island weren’t exactly bargains. Bloomberg reported the two adjacent properties sold for $147 million.
Bezos is reportedly ready to raze the structures on those lots and build a custom megamansion. His recent purchase is a place to live while construction is underway.
Bezos bought a nearby home on Indian Creek Island in 2023.

Bezos’ real estate empire includes homes in Washington, Washington, DC, New York City, Beverly Hills (for $165 million), and Maui.
The 60-year-old can well afford to shell out sky-high prices for elite real estate. Forbes estimates his worth at a staggering $199 billion.
